Two-time NASCAR Cup Series® champion Joey Logano put on a record-setting and million-dollar performance at North Wilkesboro Speedway to win the 40th edition of the NASCAR® All-Star Race.
The Team Penske driver led a record 199 of the race’s 200 laps from the pole to earn the $1 million payday. With a choice of tire compounds to use during the race, Logano and the crew of his No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Mustang masterfully strategized their pit stops to maintain track position. The strategy, plus a fast racecar, paid off in the driver’s second career All-Star Race victory and the fifth all-time for Team Penske.
